Sekhukhune United will host Marumo Gallants at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday evening, as both sides look to ease their relegation fears in the DStv Premiership.
Sekhukhune began life under Brandon Truter with a goalless draw against AmaZulu over the weekend, extending their winless run to four matches. Babina Noko will be desperate to pick up maximum points this evening as they find themselves in 15th position after 13 matches played.
Truter’s men will come up against a Gallants side in a similar position, as they sit one point above the relegation play-off spot. Dan Malesela’s charges resumed their league campaign with a 1-0 win defeat to SuperSport United this past weekend.
Gallants can take confidence from the fact they defeated Sekhukhune 1-0 in this fixture last season, thanks to Joseph Molangoane’s second half strike.
Both teams will be looking to take advantage of the other’s current form and secure a much needed three points. Sekhukhune United will be hoping to make the most of their home advantage, while Marumo Gallants will be looking to build on their recent victory..
