On Sunday, rivals Royal AM and AmaZulu will both be vying for their first victory of the new year when they face off in the DStv Premiership. They find themselves ninth on the standings and will be looking to break into the top eight. Royal AM, meanwhile, have one point to show for their efforts after a last-gasp 2-1 loss to Cape Town City was followed by a goalless draw against TS Galaxy on Tuesday. They currently sit in 12th place on the table.
Neither side could find the back of the net in their two league games last season, so this game could be a tight affair. Royal AM will be looking to their experienced players such as Thwihli Thwahla and Thabo Cele to lead the way, while AmaZulu will be relying on the likes of Augustine Mothwa, Siyabonga Sikhakhane and Bongi Ntuli to get the job done.
