Chaine, who joined the Buccaneers from Chippa United on transfer Deadline Day in September, was given the opportunity to play due to the injuries of Richard Ofori and Siyabonga Mpontshane. Despite the result, Chaine was proud to wear the famous Black and White jersey.
“The feeling is great, it’s a big club, it’s a big responsibility but as I said it will get better from here,” the 26-year old said. Chaine believes Pirates can improve their game by converting the chances they create. “If we can convert what we create it will be better. And individually, it’s just to go back, look back throughout the whole 90 minutes, what you can do better, what you did good,” he said.
The Sea Robbers’ loss to City was their third consecutive defeat in the league and they dropped down to eighth on the standings as a result. Orlando Pirates will be looking to turn their fortunes around when they host Golden Arrows on Saturday.
