Kaizer Chiefs’ Head of Technical and Youth Development Molefe Ntseki has identified six players who he believes could be the future of the club.
Ntseki, who has been in charge of the Amakhosi’s academy since 2012, believes that Takalani Mazamba (15-year-old goalkeeper), Thulani Mabaso (15-year-old midfielder), Mfundo Vilakazi (18-year-old attacking midfielder), Siyabonga Gumede, (18-year-old central defender), Puso Dithejane, (18-year-old right wing back) and Neo Bohloko (14-year-old striker) have all the potential to make an impact at the club.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Ntseki said, “We have many excellent players in our academy currently. The six players I have picked out are part of a group of hardworking, highly talented young players.
Looking at them holistically makes us very positive about the type of players coming through the system.” The Kaizer Chiefs factory of talent has been producing some of the finest young talent in the country for years now, and with Ntseki at the helm, it appears that the future of the club is in safe hands.
