Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has identified two positions he would like to strengthen if the right players are available in the January transfer window.
With the window in full swing, the club has been linked with a host of players, including Pule Mmodi, Celimpilo Ngema, and Katlego Otladisa.
Speaking to the media after his side’s loss to Sekhukhune United on Saturday, Zwane revealed that Chiefs do have enough players on their books that still need to be afforded an opportunity, though the defensive midfielder and striking positions are where they would most likely beef up. “Any available quality player, we’ll always go for them, and it depends.
We want to bring in players that can add value and that’s able to deal with the pressure. When you look at the good players that we have right now, we also feel that we want to give them a fair chance to prove themselves,” he said.
Zwane added that the club is not desperate to delve into the transfer market, but if the right players are available, they will not hesitate to make a move.
