Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe missed the team’s 53rd birthday celebrations on Saturday, which saw the Amakhosi lose to Sekhukhune United.
As we get closer to our Birthday tomorrow to celebrate our 53 years together let us remember to be courageous, gracious, weightless, it’s the only way to achieve greatness.

The 30-year-old Newcastle-born star had featured in 10 matches in Chiefs’ DStv Premiership campaign going into the Babina Noko clash, and had been an unused substitute in the previous fixture against Golden Arrows.
A source close to Chiefs has revealed to the Siya crew that Sithebe missed the match due to a slight knock he picked up in training, but that he remains in the plans for Arthur Zwane and the club.
“He wasn’t included for the Sekhukhune match because of a slight knock he picked in one of the training sessions but he will be back,” the source said.
