On Tuesday, Maritzburg United Football Club announced the acquisitions of Ali Meza, Bradley Cross and Kwame Peprah. Meza and Cross will join the Team of Choice on permanent deals, while Peprah arrives on loan from Orlando Pirates.
The signing of Peprah was predicted by the Siya crew, and the Ghanaian striker joins the club in an effort to move the side away from the relegation zone. Maritzburg United have made several changes to their technical team late last year, with Fadlu Davids replacing John Maduka as the head coach, and Darian Wilken and Wayne Sandilands serving as assistant and goalkeeper coach respectively.
The club have also brought in several new signings, including former Stellenbosch FC captain Rafiq de Goede, who made his debut in the team’s first victory under the new technical team against Marumo Gallants last weekend.
Maritzburg United are confident that the new additions to their squad will help them to avoid relegation and secure a place in the top flight of South African football.
