Kaizer Chiefs are unlikely to entertain offers for one of their stars, despite his current situation at the club. The focus for Amakhosi is on improving their team’s results in the DStv Premiership, after back-to-back losses against Sekhukhune United and AmaZulu.
As reported by the Siya crew, Chiefs midfielder Phathutshedzo Nange has had clubs, including SuperSport United, showing interest in his services. The 31-year-old’s situation is also being monitored at his former club in Stellenbosch, as he has struggled for game time at Chiefs.
Under Chiefs’ head coach Arthur Zwane, Nange has featured only once and has been a notable absentee from the match day squads. However, sources close to the player have indicated that the Soweto giants are not keen to part ways with the star, with Zwane and his technical team looking to have enough players as cover in case the team gets depleted by injuries and suspensions during the course of the season.
Following Njabulo Blom’s overseas move, the Glamour Boys do not want to risk reducing the squad, and are also unwilling to part ways with star midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe, contrary to media reports linking him with a loan move.
