Marumo Gallants, a DStv Premiership team, are facing a coaching change after a string of poor results this season. This past weekend, the Limpopo-based outfit suffered their seventh loss of the season, against high-flying Richards Bay FC, and have dropped to 16th on the log.

The team has won only two out of 17 matches, and head coach Dan Malesela is under pressure to improve the situation. Malesela re-joined Gallants in September, following a stint with Royal AM, but has failed to turn the team’s fortunes, guiding them to two wins, two draws and five losses in their nine league games.
Sources close to the team have revealed that while the management is fully behind the coach, the disappointing results have caused concern. “The results are a concern for the team and as the leader of the group, the coach is under pressure. The coach has got the support of club management but the results should start coming for him to continue in his position,” said the source.
In other news, former Sekhukhune United assistant coach Selaotse ‘Sly’ Mosala has joined the club for their DStv Diski Challenge side.
