Kaizer Chiefs players are determined to turn their fortunes around in the DStv Premiership and are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts.
Midfielder Cole Alexander has revealed that the Glamour Boys are taking their training sessions to a whole new level, with players even wearing shin guards during training – a practice rarely seen in the league.
Alexander believes that the extra hours put in by the team in training and analysis will soon start to yield results. He also paid tribute to the club’s youth development, saying that the youngsters who have been brought up to the first team are showing great composure and talent.
“They have balls – sorry to use that term,” he said.
“They are composed, they can play, they know the game, so credit to the Kaizer Chiefs development, boys come in and can smoke the pipe.” With the team’s commitment and determination, Chiefs fans will be hoping that their efforts will soon be rewarded with positive results on the pitch.
