Kaizer Chiefs have endured a difficult start to the 2021 season, losing all three of their opening DStv Premiership matches.
However, head coach Arthur Zwane remains optimistic that they will soon be a different team. Speaking after their 1-0 defeat to Bloemfontein Celtic on Saturday night, Zwane said that the team is trying to strike a balance between playing good football and winning games.
He also noted that the team has a number of young players who are still settling in and that they are getting there slowly but surely. “We’re trying to get the balance right between playing good football and also winning the games. We have a lot of youngsters here and we want to give them a chance to settle in and play,” said Zwane.
He also noted that the team had their chances in the game against Celtic but were unable to take them, and that they will have to get back to the drawing board and continue to work hard in order to turn things around.
“We had our chances in the game, but we didn’t take them and that cost us. So we have to get back to the drawing board and keep working hard,” he said.
