The transfer window for the South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) is drawing to a close, with clubs in the bottom half of the table making some last-minute moves to avoid relegation. Maritzburg United have signed Wayde Jooste, Jose Ali Meza, Kwame Peprah and Bradley Cross, while Stellenbosch FC have acquired Andre de Jong and Judas Moseamedi has joined Marumo Gallants.
Mamelodi Sundowns are reportedly interested in signing Percy Tau, but Al Ahly are said to be making it difficult for them to acquire the Bafana Bafana attacker before the window closes.
SuperSport United are likely to part ways with Thamsanqa Gabuza, who is being tracked by Royal AM and Stellenbosch. Royal AM, meanwhile, are expected to announce the signing of Mthokozisi Dube on a free transfer.
Kaizer Chiefs defender Austin Dube has been linked with a move back to his former club Richards Bay, while Sundowns striker Gift Motupa could be sent out on loan. Orlando Pirates’ Tebogo Tlolane could also leave the club this month.
