Ramovic unsure of his fate as TS Galaxy coach amid goal drought

TS Galaxy have been struggling in the DStv Premiership of late, having failed to register a victory in their last four matches and not scoring a single goal. With the team now sitting in 11th place on the log, having won only three from 17 matches and drawing a whopping 10, the most of any team in the league, the pressure is on the head coach Sead Ramovic to turn things around.

Following the team’s 1-0 loss against Cape Town City on Friday, Ramovic spoke about his situation at the club. “This, you have to ask from the chairman, if you ask me, I am a confident guy and I try my best every day. I’m not sure if I should be very happy because we have 19 points and we are not in the last place. Yes, we didn’t score many goals but we didn’t lose in seven games before this game,” the coach said.

Ramovic’s impressive run last season, which saw him lead the team to eight wins and seven draws from 26 matches since replacing Owen da Gama in October, earned him a new three-year deal at the club. However, the pressure is now on the German mentor to help the team improve their current standing.
