On Thursday, Mamelodi Sundowns player Jody February completed a move to DStv Premiership opponents AmaZulu for the second half of the season.

The 26-year-old had struggled to get regular game-time at the defending league champions, having spent the previous season on loan at Swallows FC. February, who didn’t get any minutes in the first half of the campaign, was unable to break into the first team due to Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Ronwen Williams’ impressive form.
AmaZulu took to their official Twitter account to announce the former Ajax Cape Town (now Cape Town Spurs) goalkeeper’s signing on loan from the Brazilians. “Forget about your Januworry woes because Jody February is here. The goalie joins us on a loan deal from Mamelodi Sundowns,” the Durban-based club confirmed.
February has been on Sundowns’ books since 2019, having joined from the Urban Warriors.
