Kaizer Chiefs have officially revealed the jersey number of their new striker, Christian Saile Basomboli. The Congolese forward, who signed a three-and-a-half year deal from Zambian outfit Nchanga Rangers, was welcomed to Naturena by Sporting Director and head coach Arthur Zwane on Wednesday and presented with the famous gold and black jersey.
Basomboli will wear the number 21, which was previously worn by Lebogang Manyama, who left the Soweto giants at the end of last season. He is itching to make his debut for the club, and the Amakhosi supporters will be hoping that he can hit the ground running.

Chiefs have recently been struggling in the final third of the pitch, having not found the back of the net in the three Premiership matches they have played. With strikers Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana and Ashley du Preez hitting a slump, Basomboli could be the answer to their problems.
The Soweto giants will take on Royal AM at FNB Stadium on Sunday, and the Amakhosi faithful will be hoping that Basomboli can make an immediate impact.
