South African Football Association (SAFA) have announced that they are now looking for a capable individual to oversee their commercial and marketing matters. The role comes with a hefty salary of around R800 000 per year.
SAFA Chief Financial Officer Gronie Hluyo confirmed earlier this month that the Association was far from broke, with their finances in “good and very much in order”.
The individual chosen to fill the role would have to lead and direct the Association’s Marketing and fundraising efforts, building a positive brand and reputation, amongst other duties.
The position was previously held by former Banyana Banyana captain-turned-television pundit Amanda Dlamini, who vacated the post in October last year.
Applications for the role close on 31 January 2023, and those interested can find more information on SAFA’s website.
