Burnley’s FA Cup clash with Ipswich Town ended in a goalless draw on Saturday evening, with the Clarets introducing new signing Lyle Foster to the fray.
The 22-year-old South African striker was signed from Westerlo earlier this week and was named on the bench by coach Vincent Kompany for the tie.
Foster was introduced in the 66th minute and got a decent amount of minutes under his belt, but the Clarets were unable to find the back of the net.
The tie will now be decided in a replay, with the date of the fixture to be announced in due course.
Foster turns his focus back to the Championship next weekend, as Burnley take on Norwich City, with the former Orlando Pirates man looking to make his league bow.
