On Friday, Orlando Pirates agreed to send versatile player Tebogo Tlolane on loan to Maritzburg United on the final day of the PSL transfer window. The Team of Choice have since unveiled the 28-year-old for his third spell in Pietermaritzburg.
According to a source close to the situation, the move could become a permanent one for Tlolane if he does well with Maritzburg. “Like any other player, it would be good for him (Tlolane) to have a stable home so that he can focus on making progress in his career,” said the source. “He is a very good player who has done well whenever he has been given a chance and Maritzburg could make use of the opportunity to sign him on a permanent deal if he does well with them,” the source added.
Tlolane has joined Pirates teammate Kwame Peprah at the KZN outfit, who is also on loan for the remainder of the Premiership season.
