Stellenbosch FC will be looking to continue their revival of the season when they host Swallows FC in the Nedbank Cup last 32 on Saturday 11 February 2023 at the Athlone Stadium. Stellies have climbed up to 12th on the log, two points clear of the relegation zone, after ending a nine-game winless run with back-to-back victories over Cape Town City and Chippa United in the league.
Swallows, meanwhile, will also get some respite from relegation worries, although they beat Richards Bay 1-0 the last time out to move out of the drop zone by goal difference. The Birds reached the round of 16 in the previous season before they were dumped out by Royal AM.
