Confirmed Lineup: AmaZulu vs Tornado

On Saturday, AmaZulu will host ABC Motsepe League side Tornado FC in the last 32 of the Nedbank Cup at the King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium.

AmaZulu are on a four-match unbeaten run, having drawn their last three matches 1-1 consecutively, the last of which was against Maritzburg United. Usuthu are currently sixth on the table and will be looking to progress past the first round, after being knocked out at this stage last season by Orlando Pirates.

Tornado FC, from the Northern Cape ABC Motsepe League Group A, are making a return to the tournament after last appearing in 2019, when they were narrowly defeated 1-0 in the first round by Kaizer Chiefs. The Upington-based side are currently fourth in the third-tier provincial league standings, five points behind league leaders Upington City.

Both sides have named their line-ups for the match, with AmaZulu opting for an attacking line-up featuring the likes of Augustine Mhango and Lehlohonolo Majoro, while Tornado FC have named a number of experienced players in their starting XI, including former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Rivaldo Coetzee.

The match is set to kick-off at 3pm and promises to be an exciting encounter between two sides with different objectives. AmaZulu will be looking to progress to the next round and keep their unbeaten streak alive, while Tornado FC will be hoping to cause an upset and progress to the last 16.
