Prior to their 2-1 defeat to Dondol, SuperSport had ended a four-game winless run after beating Cape Town City 2-0 in the league. United are currently second on the table, just a point ahead of Orlando Pirates and Richards Bay.
Royal AM, meanwhile, will be in good spirits after they progressed to the round of 16 of the Nedbank Cup following their penalty shootout win over the Citizens. Thwihli Thwahla also won for the first time in four matches after beating Golden Arrows, and are now ninth on the table.
SuperSport are chasing a league double over Royal AM after registering a 3-1 victory in the reverse fixture earlier this season.
Saturday’s clash at Chatsworth Stadium is set to kick off at 15h30.
