Reports suggest that former SuperSport United midfielder Zama Rambuwane is being offered to Orlando Pirates. The South African youth international is currently reviving his career in the third tier with Pele Pele FC, the Buccaneers’ feeder team.
The club has helped to revive the careers of a number of players in the past, including Yusuf Maart who went on to shine at Sekhukhune United and Bafana Bafana, before being signed by Kaizer Chiefs last year.
Insiders have revealed to the Siya crew that attempts are being made for Rambuwane to potentially train with Bucs’ first team. The aim is for him to return to the PSL. Rambuwane parted ways with SuperSport at the end of the 2020/21 season.
When contacted for comment, Rambuwane’s representative Gerald Baloyi said, “Zama has done well to revive his career, as he has been playing and doing well at Pele Pele and all I can say is that anything is possible in football.”
