Kaizer Chiefs Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr has responded to the ongoing suggestions that the current technical team of the Amakhosi lack experience. This comes after Chiefs lost their eighth game of the league season to Golden Arrows on Sunday, and have generally struggled to put together a sequence of victories this season.
Motaung Jr said that all they can do is give head coach Arthur Zwane the necessary support as coaches who have experience, they gained it through doing their jobs as well.

“If I had asked you, what is experience? Everyone who’s got experience they got it by doing their job. So we are, as management, from the directors board, the chairman, we’ve given a young coach an opportunity at the helm,” Motaung Jr said during the Soweto Derby press conference ahead of the game.
He further added that it is up to the management to provide the right resources, support and environment for Zwane to succeed.
“Sitting in position five is not where we want to be but if you look at the short turnaround time in how the brand of football he has managed to make us play is positive and right now is not the time to talk about positives because our fans want results,” Motaung Jr said.
“They want trophies and that’s the objective but at the end of the day the technical staff are hard at work and they know the areas they need to rectify and work on and I know they are not sleeping, they’re working tirelessly,” he concluded.
