Kaizer Chiefs are gearing up for a highly-anticipated Soweto derby clash against Orlando Pirates this afternoon. Coach Arthur Zwane could make some changes to his attack as Amakhosi look to bounce back from their 3-2 defeat to Golden Arrows.

Mduduzi Shabalala looks set to start in his first Soweto derby, with Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana potentially replacing Christian Saile Basomboli up front. Brandon Petersen is expected to start in goal for Chiefs, as Itumeleng Khune has not played a Soweto derby league match since 2018/19.
Siyabonga Ngezana is likely to start at right back, while Sifiso Hlanti has made the left back position his own. Zitha Kwinika is expected to start in central defence, but it’s unclear who will partner him. Edmilson Dove could be available to face the Buccaneers, as Zwane confirmed earlier this week that he has been training away from the first team.
The Soweto derby is always an exciting affair and Chiefs will be hoping to get the better of their arch-rivals today. Kick-off is at 15:30 and fans can follow the action live on SuperSport.
