Highly rated Chippa United winger Thabiso Lebitso has been catching the eye of clubs in the DStv Premiership, with reports suggesting that SuperSport United and AmaZulu have shown interest in the 30-year-old.
Lebitso has been a starter in all of the team’s last 13 matches in the DStv Premiership, and has scored two goals so far this season. Sources close to the Eastern Cape outfit have revealed that the two clubs are monitoring the winger’s situation closely.
“Thabiso Lebitso has been one of the top performers for Chippa United and he is being monitored by a few clubs in the DStv Premiership. SuperSport United and AmaZulu are some of the clubs showing interest in the player and you can expect something to happen with regards to his future in the coming weeks,” said the source.
The winger scored the only goal for Chippa United in their most recent match against Swallows FC last season, and it remains to be seen if he will remain with the club beyond the current transfer window.
