Baraka Majogoro, the Tanzanian defensive midfielder for Chippa United, has caught the attention of other PSL clubs with his impressive performances in the four matches he has played since joining the club. According to sources close to the club and the player, Sekhukhune United and SuperSport United have shown interest in the 26-year-old.
“He joined the team after preseason as he was like a last minute signing and since he was given the chance to play he has done very well. I am not surprised that there are teams interested in him,” said the source.
Another source added that the two teams potentially interested in the player seem to have known him even before he came to South Africa. “They have both shown interest in the player and from my point of view it’s not like they have just known him just for a few games. It seems they knew him before he came to Chippa,” said the source.
Majogoro had joined Chippa United from Mtibwa Sugar FC in Tanzania. PSLSA contacted both clubs for comment but received no response while preparing this story.
