Former Chippa United coach Daine Klate has found a new home in South African football, joining NB La Masia as the team’s new head coach. Klate, 38, was appointed to the role after Delano Hendricks was relieved of his duties following a stuttering start to the Motsepe Foundation Championship season.
Klate’s appointment marks his return to the coaching ranks after being let go from Chippa United in September 2022. During his brief stint with the Chilli Boys, Klate managed seven games

La Masia have had a mixed start to the season, with two wins, two draws, and three losses from their opening seven matches. The team suffered a 4-0 defeat to Hungry Lions in their last outing.
