Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly reignited their interest in AS FAR head
coach Nasreddine Nabi as a potential replacement for former head coach
Molefi Ntseki. Sources close to the club have confirmed that the Glamour
Boys are looking for a permanent replacement for Ntseki, with Cavin
Johnson having been appointed as interim coach.
It is believed that Chiefs were interested in bringing Nabi to Naturena
last season, but talks between the two parties broke down, leading to the
appointment of Ntseki. Now, the club is looking to renew their interest in
the 58-year-old Moroccan coach.
However, any potential move for Nabi would need to be negotiated with AS
FAR, as he is currently under contract with the Moroccan giants until
2025.
Nabi has had a successful career in African football, having managed the
likes of Young Africans, Al-Hilal Omdurman, AS FAR and the Algerian
national team.
