The match between Sekhukhune United and Cape Town Spurs kicked off at the

a well-taken free kick from midfielder Siyabonga Mokotjo.

The goal seemed to spark the home side into life, and they continued to
dominate the game for the rest of the first half.

Spurs, however, started the second half with renewed energy, and in the
56th minute, they equalized through a powerful header from substitute
Thabo Ryan.

The rest of the second half was an even affair, with both sides having
chances to take the lead. In the end, the match ended in a 1-1 draw, with
both sides progressing to the quarter-finals.

Overall, it was an entertaining match between two evenly matched sides.

Sekhukhune have now progressed to the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup,
where they will face a tough test against either Kaizer Chiefs or
Maritzburg United.
