Predicted Lineups: Chippa United vs. Mpheni Home Defenders Clash

Chippa United will be looking to revive their season when they host
third-tier side Mpheni Home Defenders in the Nedbank Cup round of 16 on
Saturday afternoon. Interim coach Kurt Lentjies has not been able to turn
the tide since he replaced Morgan Mammila, as Chippa lost for the third
consecutive league game after a 2-0 defeat to AmaZulu last weekend.
However, the Chilli Boys booked their spot in the last 16 after beating
Motsepe Foundation Championship side Polokwane City on penalties following
a 1-1 draw in extra-time.

Mpheni, who are campaigning in the ABC Motsepe League Limpopo region, got
to this stage after thrashing fellow third-tier outfit Clarewood JPM. The
Bulls are currently top of the standings in the Limpopo Stream A, just
three points clear of second-placed Giyani Happy Boys with a game in hand.
Mpheni are in great form, as they have won 11 of their 12 league games so
far after drubbing Musina United 3-0 towards the end of February.

Saturday’s match between Chippa United and Mpheni Home Defenders promises
to be an entertaining affair. Chippa will be looking to use their home
ground advantage to their advantage, while Mpheni will be looking to
continue their impressive form and progress to the quarterfinals of the
Nedbank Cup.
