TS Galaxy are reportedly assessing their options for a potential
replacement for Given Msimango, their sought-after star who is likely to
leave for either Kaizer Chiefs or Orlando Pirates at the end of the
season.
According to sources, both Chiefs and Pirates have expressed interest in
the 25-year-old centre-back, and the club appears to be planning for a
possible replacement in the form of Kaizer Chiefs defender Erick Mathoho.
Mathoho is facing an uncertain future with Amakhosi, with indications that
the Soweto giants are not intending to keep the veteran centre-back beyond
his current deal.
“TS Galaxy is aware of the interest in Msimango and that’s why the club is
having plans to sign Mathoho. Both Chiefs and Pirates are interested in
Msimango and Galaxy is monitoring the situation closely with Mathoho at
Chiefs,” said the source.
