SuperSport United are reportedly set to extend the contract of midfielder
Siphesihle Ndlovu, according to the Siya crew. Ndlovu joined Matsatsantsa
on a one-year deal at the start of the season after struggling to break
into the Orlando Pirates side.
Indications are that SuperSport have been pleased with his contribution
and are looking to hold onto the former Maritzburg United star. Sources
have indicated that management and the technical team have been happy with
Ndlovu and Grant Margeman in the middle of the park, and see this as a
combination that can take the club into next season.
The 26-year-old has made 12 appearances this season for SuperSport, two
more than he managed the whole of last season with the Buccaneers. At this
stage, he is likely to go well past last season’s appearance.
Ndlovu is enjoying regular football again and is reportedly more than
happy to stay for another season with the club, with the hope that they
will challenge Mamelodi Sundowns for the DStv Premiership title next term.
