Chiefs Coach Full of Praise for Rejuvenated Trio

Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane has praised three of the club’s players,
Siyabonga Ngezana, Brandon Petersen and Siyethemba Sithebe, for their
mental fortitude to work their way back into the team after a period on
the sidelines.

The trio had found themselves out of favour for various reasons including
a lack of form, injuries and competition within the squad.

However, Zwane has praised them for their resilience in bouncing back and
being able to compete at the highest level.

“It is always how you come back after a setback and that alone tells you
that mentally you are strong enough to play for the team of Kaizer Chiefs’
calibre,” said Zwane at the club’s open day.

He added that the pressure of playing for a team of Chiefs’ calibre is
immense as the club has not won any trophies in recent times.

“You know, the pressure will always mount when things are not going our
way. It’s how you deal with the pressure. It’s how you come back after a
setback as a player. To just to show your quality, just to show that you
are mentally ready in order to compete at this level,” he explained.

Zwane concluded by commending the trio for their displays in recent
matches, noting that it takes a lot of mental strength to perform
consistently for a team like Kaizer Chiefs.
