After claiming their fifth consecutive win in the Soweto Derby, Kaizer
Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane lauded the return of Edmilson Dove. The
Amakhosi secured a 1-0 win over Orlando Pirates at FNB Stadium on Tuesday,
thanks to an own goal from Olisa Ndah in the late stages of the match.

“It was very important for us to get three points today,” Zwane told
SuperSport after the game. “We looked like whenever we were applying a
little bit of pressure on them, more especially waiting for [Miguel] Timm
and [Ndabayithethwa] Ndlondlo to receive the ball because we set pressing
traps in the middle.”
Zwane added that Dove’s presence would have made a difference in their
previous game against Golden Arrows. “Had Dove been available in the
previous game it could have been a different story altogether because we
did not allow any space in front and in behind,” he said.
Dove was named Man of the Match on his return to the side, and Zwane
praised him for his performance. “This is what you saw today,” he said. “I
believe his presence made the difference in terms of managing the space.”
