Sekhukhune United have confirmed that Sibusiso Vilakazi has signed a
short-term deal with the club until the end of the season, with an option
to extend. The former Mamelodi Sundowns star has recently parted ways with
TS Galaxy and has been training with the team.
Sources close to the attacker have confirmed the news, stating that
Vilakazi has done well to impress the coach and his technical team and a
decision has been made to add him to the squad.
“It wasn’t a trial because everybody knows Vila and what he can do. It was
just a matter of assessing him to see how he can fit into the team. It’s a
four-month deal with an option for one year,” the source said.
Vilakazi will now look to make an impact for Sekhukhune United in the
upcoming months and help the team in their pursuit of a strong finish to
the season.
