SuperSport United will be looking to solidify their position in the
second spot of the DStv Premiership standings when they host Golden Arrows
at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Sunday evening.
The match is scheduled to kick-off at 17h45. SuperSport are currently two
points ahead of third-placed Orlando Pirates and have gone five matches
unbeaten in the league.
However, Gavin Hunt will not have the services of top scorer Bradley
Grobler and Onismor Bhasera due to suspension. Golden Arrows, on the other
hand, are looking to gain momentum after ending their two-game losing
streak with a 3-2 win over Kaizer Chiefs two weeks ago.
Abafana Bes’thende currently sit 12th on the table, two points off
eighth-placed Sekhukhune United.
They will be looking to complete a league double over SuperSport, having
secured a 2-1 win in January. Both sides will be hoping to get the win to
boost their chances of a top eight finish this season.
It promises to be an entertaining clash between two sides who will be
eager to pick up all three points.
