Upington City, a Motsepe Foundation Championship side, have made three
significant signings to bolster their squad ahead of their upcoming match
against Marumo Gallants. The newly-promoted side have only registered one
win from their opening seven matches this campaign, and have brought in
some fire power for the attack in Keletso Makgalwa and former Swallows
forward Joseph Mhlongo.
The club have also signed former Maritzburg United defender Bonginkosi
Makume, who spent one season with the Team of Choice, who were relegated
to the Championship last campaign. Makgalwa, Mhlongo and Makume could all
make their debut against Marumo Gallants on Saturday afternoon.
Upington City are hoping that the experience of the trio will help to
improve their fortunes as they look to make an impact in the Motsepe
Foundation Championship this season.
