Kaizer Chiefs have been inundated with enquiries regarding the head coaching position since announcing the changes to the technical team.
On Monday, the club relieved Molefi Ntseki of his duties as the head coach and replaced him with Cavin Johnson who had initially joined as the Head of Academy last month.
Arthur Zwane has been moved from the position of assistant coach to return to his previous role within the club’s development, with only Dillon Sheppard surviving as the assistant coach and set to serve under Johnson.
The latest name to be linked to Chiefs is former Notts County player Paul Smalley. The UEFA A license holder has coached in England at youth level and has previously served as a director of youth at Portsmouth in the Premier League.
He has also held roles in the USA, New Zealand, and Australia. The Siya crew understands that Smalley’s camp is considering offering him to the club.
It remains to be seen if Chiefs will consider the English coach for the head coaching position.
