Confirmed Lineup: AmaZulu vs. Pirates

Orlando Pirates will be looking to revive their DStv Premiership season when they travel to AmaZulu on Tuesday evening for a clash at Moses Mabhida Stadium. The Buccaneers have not been in league action for over a month, with four consecutive matches in the MTN8, CAF Champions League and Carling Knockout, where they progressed to the quarter-finals with a 2-0 win over Cape Town Spurs last Friday.

The last time Jose Riveiro’s charges were in Premiership action was a narrow 1-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns on 20 September. Sitting 14th on the table with seven points, although they have three games in hand, Pirates will be hoping to make up lost ground with a win over AmaZulu.

The KwaZulu-Natal side come into the game in high spirits after they eliminated Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 in the Carling Knockout first round on Saturday courtesy of a late goal by Taariq Fielies. The win ended their three-game unbeaten run in the league, where they sit 11th on the table with ten points from eight games.

AmaZulu utility player Abbubaker Mobara will not be available against his former team due to suspension. Here’s how they line up: AmaZulu: Mothwa, Jooste, Hanamub, Fielies, Mphahlele, Gumede, Motshwari, Brooks, Dion, Ekstein, Mbanjwa
