SuperSport United will be looking to bounce back from an embarrassing cup defeat when they host Royal AM in the DStv Premiership clash on Thursday evening at TUT Stadium. The hosts, who were defeated 4-1 by Polokwane City in the Carling Knockout last 16, will be hoping to maintain their third-place position on the log with a win over their 14th-placed opponents.
Matsatsantsa come into the game off the back of a 2-1 win over Cape Town Spurs before the FIFA break, while Royal AM were knocked out of the Carling Knockout in the first round after a narrow 1-0 loss to Sekhukhune United on Saturday.
The two sides met twice last season, with United coming out on top in both games. They thrashed Royal AM 3-1 in the return fixture at home after a 1-1 draw in the first round.
United will be without injured duo Clayton Daniels and Teboho Mokoena, while Royal AM will be without the services of their captain Tshepo Tema.
