Kaizer Chiefs interim coach Cavin Johnson is expected to make minimal changes to the Amakhosi’s starting line-up when they take on Golden Arrows in KZN on Friday. Johnson, who has been brought in to fill the void left by the departure of Molefi Ntseki, will be looking to get the team back to winning ways and closer to the top of the DSTV Premiership.
Itumeleng Khune is expected to start in goal, while Reeve Frosler, Given Msimango, Thatayaone Ditlhokwe and Sifiso Hlanti could form the back four. In midfield, Sibongiseni Mthethwa, Yusuf Maart and Edson Castillo are likely to start, with George Matlou possibly returning to the bench. Keagan Dolly looks set to start as well in a front three, coming from the right side as usual, with Pule Mmodi on the opposite flank. Ashley du Preez’s fitness is uncertain, so Ranga Chivaviro could get the nod.
Johnson will be hoping for a better result than the Carling Knockout last weekend against AmaZulu, and will be expecting a good performance from his players against an Arrows side that has been in good form this term.
