Kaizer Chiefs will be looking to book their place in the quarterfinals of the Nedbank Cup when they host second-tier side Casric Stars at the FNB Stadium on Sunday evening.
The Glamour Boys come into the game on the back of two consecutive victories in the Premier Soccer League, following a 3-2 loss to Golden Arrows.
Chiefs booked their spot in the round of 16 after needing extra-time to beat Maritzburg United 2-0.
Casric Stars, meanwhile, come into the game with a 13-game unbeaten run in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, after playing to a goalless draw against Magesi last weekend.
The second-tier side made it through to this stage after thrashing ABC Motsepe League side Mkhambathi 4-0 last month.
Stars are currently placed a commendable third on the second-tier standings, just three points adrift of leaders Polokwane City. Both teams will be hoping to make it through to the next round, and with the stakes high, the match is set to be an exciting one.
