Mamelodi Sundowns continued their impressive run in the Nedbank Cup with
a 3-1 win over Marumo Gallants on Thursday night.
The Brazilians, who are the defending champions, were guided to victory
by a hat-trick from Peter Shalulile.
Coach Rulani Mokwena was pleased with the result and felt the scoreline
was a true reflection of the game.

He gave credit to the players for their hard work and effort, noting that
the team created a lot of chances. Mokwena also likened Sundowns to
Manchester City, saying that although many teams know how they create
their chances, it is the players who make the difference.
He praised the experience of Denis Onyango, Mothobi Mvala, Mosa Lebusa,
Themba Zwane and Bongani Zungu, as well as the leadership of Shalulile.
Sundowns will now progress to the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup,
where they will be looking to defend their title.
