On Sunday, 29th October, Casric Stars ended their three-game losing streak after edging University of Pretoria 1-0 at ABSA Tuks Stadium. Lebohang Lesako scored the decisive goal for Stars with 23 minutes remaining, taking them up to tenth on the table with 11 points. Meanwhile, Hungry Lions’ three-game winning streak was halted after a 1-1 draw against Pretoria Callies at Windhoek Draught Park Stadium. Pitso Tlotlego snatched the equaliser for Lions seven minutes after Callies went ahead, and Ditau Dia Rora moved up to second on the log, three points behind leaders Orbit College.
On Saturday, 28th October, Orbit College remained at the top of the table despite a last-gasp 1-0 defeat to Venda Football Academy at Giant Stadium. Rotondwa Mutsivhuli eventually snatched the winner for Venda in stoppage time, and the North West outfit retained their top spot by three points while Venda moved out of the relegation zone by a point, up to 14th on the log. Upington City also beat Magesi 2-0 at Windhoek Draught Park, with Bokang Mokwena and Keletso Makgalwa scoring the goals. Magesi dropped down to fifth on the standings, four points off the top of the table while Upington City went up to 11th with ten points.
Black Leopards ended their two-game losing streak after edging Milford 2-1 on Saturday afternoon at Thohoyandou Stadium. Lidoda Duvha went ahead just after the interval and quickly doubled their lead on 68 minutes, although Menzi Chili reduced the deficit for the Stallions two minutes later. Leopards leapfrogged Milford in 12th spot on the log, above them by a place and two points. Lastly, new coach Daine Klate could not extend his perfect start at NB La Masia after playing to a 1-1 draw against Platinum City Rovers at Isak Steyl Stadium. City Rovers moved up slightly but in danger up to 15th on the log with seven points while La Masia ended up in seventh on the log with 12 points.
On Friday, 27th October, JDR Stars climbed up third on the table after a narrow 1-0 win over Maritzburg United at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium. Prince Nxumalo scored the decisive goal for the Hammerboys six minutes before time, taking them up to within three points of leaders Orbit College. Meanwhile, Baroka extended their unbeaten run to six matches after playing to a 1-1 draw against ten-man Marumo Gallants in the Limpopo derby at Isak Steyl Stadium. Bakgaga eventually got the equaliser in stoppage time through Tshepo Mashiloane, and Baroka and Gallants remained equal on points in eighth and ninth place on the table respectively.
