On Wednesday evening, Golden Arrows put an end to their two-game losing streak with a 3-2 victory over Marumo Gallants in the DStv Premiership.
The match, which took place at the Princess Magogo Stadium, saw Abafana Bes’thende take the lead through Celimpilo Ngema’s rebound goal from the penalty spot. The Limpopo side equalized shortly after the break through Nqobeko Dlamini, but Arrows restored their lead through Pule Mmodi’s strike on the hour mark.
Knox Mutizwa then added a third for the hosts before Chivaviro pulled one back for Gallants in the last 13 minutes.

Despite Gallants’ late surge, Arrows held on to their lead to secure all three points and move up to ninth on the log. The visitors, meanwhile, remain rooted at the bottom of the table.
