On Monday, Orlando Pirates provided concerning information on Thembinkosi Lorch, Goodman Mosele and two other stars ahead of the much-anticipated Soweto derby. Since his return from a long-term injury, Lorch has been a major boost for the Buccaneers, having shown signs of hunger for more football action in the two matches he has featured in.
In the first match on return, the star marked his return with a goal in the 2-0 win in the Nedbank Cup against All Stars after coming off the bench as a second half substitute. His impressive performance earned him a place in the starting line-up in the league clash against Maritzburg United as Jose Riveiro’s side continued with their resurgence.
With Bucs going into one of the big matches on their calendar against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday, the club has confirmed that Lorch and Mosele are racing against time to be at FNB Stadium after picking up niggles, while updates have also been provided on Nkosinathi Sibisi and Richard Ofori.
“Goodman Mosele and Thembinkosi Lorch each left the field prematurely over the last two games and might not feature, joining the likes of Nkosinathi Sibisi and Richard Ofori on the sidelines,” stated Pirates on the club’s official website in previewing the match.
