Mamelodi Sundowns, the current Premiership log leaders, are reportedly looking to loan out defender Katlego Mohamme in order to give him the game-time he needs. The 24-year-old was signed by the club in 2021 and spent the following season on loan to Swallows FC, but has yet to see any action since returning to the club at the start of the current campaign.
According to a source close to the club, the technical team has reached a consensus on the future of the defender, believing that the competition in the central defensive position is too much for him at the moment. As such, they are looking to loan him out for another season, in the hopes that he will return more prepared to fight for a place in the team.
The Soshanguve-born defender has previously played for SuperSport United and has represented South Africa at Under-17 and Under-20 level.
Mohamme is highly rated by the technical team at Sundowns, and they are confident that with the right amount of game-time, he will be able to make an impact in the team.
