Orlando Pirates midfielder Thembinkosi Lorch is nearing his return from a long-term injury, according to reports. After missing 12 matches in succession, the 29-year-old has been back at training for the past few days and is racing against time to regain fitness before the end of the season.
The Soweto giants had confirmed last year that the Bafana Bafana international was due back at the end of this month and social media has been abuzz with pictures and videos of the star working hard in training.

The return of Lorch will be an added boost to the team as they look to keep the top half of the log in sight. Pirates are currently on a two-game winning streak after victories against Golden Arrows and Stellenbosch FC.
Jose Riveiro’s side is scheduled to visit Marumo Gallants at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium this Saturday, however, it is still unclear if Lorch will be available for selection.
