Former AmaZulu goalkeeper coach Moeneeb Josephs has announced that he has taken up a new role as a coach at Emmarentia Primary School. Josephs parted ways with the Durban-based club at the end of last season, after having worked as the goalkeeper coach for the team.
The ex-Bafana Bafana goalkeeper played a major role in AmaZulu’s success in the 2020/21 season, as the team finished in second place on the log and qualified for the CAF Champions League. Josephs also helped the team’s number one goalkeeper, Veli Mothwa, to improve his performances and remain with Bafana.
Josephs took to social media to confirm that he is now coaching kids at Emmarentia Primary School. “Start of my new coaching journey with Emmarentia Primary School,” he tweeted, along with a photo of himself in his new role.
The former Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper will no doubt be looking to apply the same level of success to his new role as he did with AmaZulu.
