The 22-year-old has spent the week training with the team and getting to acclimatise to his new surroundings, and is edging closer to his Bucs debut. The Buccaneers have also given an update on creative attacker Thembinkosi Lorch, goalkeeper Richard Ofori and midfielder Miguel Timm.
“Having kicked off the year with a few of their stars sidelined, the Buccaneers have made some strides on the injury front with the likes of Richard Ofori and Thembinkosi Lorch now back in training,” confirmed Pirates on the club’s official website.
“Midfielder Miguel Timm is another player on his way back after missing out of last Sunday’s game against Stellenbosch, while new recruit Souaibou Marou edges closer to his Bucs debut after completing his first full week of training with his new teammates,” stated Pirates.
With the club aiming for the continuation of their resurgence, tonight’s match could provide the perfect opportunity for Marou to make his much-anticipated debut.
